F*&% Me

by smitty1247 @ 2008-07-24 - 11:10:49

Well, it's finally arrived. Our company is now using a OpenDNS blocker to filter the sites we can get to on the web at work.

This could have easily been prevented if some A-hole down stairs wasn't looking at porn when the CEO walked by. It's not like he hasn't been warned, some people just have to push it. F%^ker!

I assume you know how to pull blocked sites down from the Akamai servers? If not, Google what I just said. Only it wasn't me. I was not here.

Every site that I have been to says there is NO way around OpenDNS.

I could not find anything that told me how. It also just so happens that when I find a site that does mention it, it's blocked. :(

Same thing happened where I work. Totally ruined my morale.
Not that I'm addicted to blogging, or anything.

I did find out that I can change my DNS settings on my computer but I wouldn't be able to see the main network. Oh well, this is my main site I'm on all day anyway.

Yep, I can still blog. Luckily, I'm the only one here who actually does blog and it helps when your friends with the IT guy who set up the OpenDNS.
