Fixing the house

Started after work when I got home. I came home to find my AC wasn't working in the house. So I shut it off and went into the attic to look over the unit. In order to get into the attic I have to go through a window outside of the house. This requires unscrewing the window from the frame (large single plane window). Gently placed the window in the attic and proceeded to check over said unit. Nothing wrong. Went to exit the attic and heard a crack . Shit!. Looked back, window was shattered . Oh yeah, a serious storm was brewing in the horizon. It's gonna rain, hard. Can't fix the window so I put some plastic over it.

So I've got a service call to get the AC unit recharged with freon and now I have a window to replace . Joys of home ownership.

It's Fecking hot and I need to do some work outside.

Engineering manager calls me up and gives me the riot act for not double checking with "engineering" before purchasing new equipment. Since he is relatively higher up the food chain and didn't want to remind him that I informed them of this purchase and he said ok.

Don't worry, I reminded my boss of it.

Spent all winter and most of this spring designing and putting together our new company test lab and I'm having issue with Gremlins. The little idiots are all gone but one .
The blower package used for conveying material is not running right. Since it's not running right, everyone is grasping at straws to try and figure out what it is. Our electrical engineer says it's mechanical and our mechanical engineer says it's electrical. Well we ruled out the electrical part today, somewhat . Mech Eng. what an expensive test to verify motor and wiring is ok . Electrical engineer is pointing out the the motor and blower sheaves are a little to far from their respective faces and need to be moved in . Guess what... I'm caught in the freakin middle. Comes with the job, I guess, got to make the tough decisions sometimes.

Didn't really have a whole lot planned for today. Just wanted to take it easy, then the girl I've been dating calls and wants me to join her on a shopping adventure. I got nothing else planned so I might as well enjoy some good company.

On a side note, I could just get a tent like Kender and go camping or something and come back with a few tattoos.

They should really call a wedding a traveling theater buffet!!!!

Let's be honest people; lot's of food, cake, and liquor make up a good wedding reception and you have the show beforehand to get in the mood.
