For making such fine liquor as...

macallanglenlivet

I started off finishing the 1/3 I had left of the MacAllan, then started on the Glenlivet.  By the end of the night... 10:00 I was feeling no pain (or my legs... which might explain why I hit the floor) by the time I went to bed.  Oh by the way... the only way to drink Scotch is straight.

Sometimes you just need to let loose.

Oh do you know what you should try?! Highland Park - if you can get hold of it anyway. Now that willl relieve all manner of pain.

When I did bar work for many years, Macallan was always the popular choice to offer malt drinkers who wanted to try something new and a bit pricier. Always popular. You should try *runs off to google for proper spelling* Bunnahabhain (pronounced Boon-a-hab-in, I think). It was always the next step on from the Macallan and just as popular.
Cheers.

As a Scot who enjoys his whisky I beg to disagree about the way to drink it ... with 1/3 water suits me best. But never, never, ever drink a malt with anything other than water - as you obviously appreciate.

althugh I enjoy malts, my favourite whisky of all time was The Antiquary, a deluxe blend. I've not seen it about for ages. Used to come in a rectangular bottle
